PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Steelers linebacker Lamarr Woodley was named the AFC’s Defensive Player of the Month Thursday for the month of October.
After a lackluster start to the year, Woodley turned it on in October to the tune of 7.5 sacks, 25 tackles and one interception as Pittsburgh went 4-1 to climb to 6-2 overall and first place in the AFC.
