 The first thing I was going to comment on at halftime was Wallace. You beat me to it. This is a typical Steelers game ... other than K.C.'s first drive, we've dominated them. | Yeah, we won ... but I'm not amused. This was the sixth game this season where the offense couldn't seal the game and gave the opposing team the ball with a chance to win on their final drive. That's fine when you do it against the Colts, Jags, and Chiefs. But that won't cut it in the playoffs. | It seemed like every time we would get something going, there would be a penalty. I hope we can chalk this one up to the bye week hang over because that was sub-par football. However, I will take a win anyway we can get it because each and every win matters now. That AFC playoff picture is going to get crammed in a hurry.

Your right we did spot them a lot of penalty yards. Once again we played down to their level but I too will take the win. Oh yeah the thread about who to keep Wallace or Brown, Brown has the edge right now in my book. | |

| The Good: The play of Ben and Brown. They played awesome, especially Ben. A lot of great check downs and escapes. I would even say Hines played well. The secondary played well (for the most part). Since when did our DBs learn to catch?
The Bad: The penalties and Wallace. Wallace really let me down last night.
The Ugly: Polumalu's injury. The guy is a freaking beast but his head is gonna turn to noodles if he doesn't start taking better care of it.

| Yeah, I think it was a hangover as well. I think the actual gameplan and play calling would have worked well if it wasn't for all the untimely mishaps. Every time something started to work, there was something setting them back again (penalties, drops, fumble, INT). I wish they would have run the ball more at certain times...but I understand them wanting to get some kind of a substantial lead. I hated that game though. Defense did a great job overall (a little bend but don't break on the last couple drives...but that's all that was needed fortunately), but just all the clumsy play on offense really left me sour.
Oh well...happy to see them get the W regardless. Hopefully all the rust is knocked off now.

| What scares me is how awful we were against the no huddle. Kudos to the Chiefs for mixing it up a bit and taking some of the strategy our of defense.
