The Steelers are moving quickly to replenish their backfield, before someone else had a chance at their target.
According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers are going to re-sign running back Jonathan Dwyer.
The move makes sense after La’Rod Stephens-Howling was lost for the year with a knee injury, amid a generally shabby offensive performance. They were without injured rookie LeVeon Bell, and ran 15 times for 32 yards against the Titans.

| Saw this coming a mile away.
And I like Dwyer. I was suprised he was cut. At least now he'll have a chance to prove why we shouldn't have cut him in the first place. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

| I wasn't surprised he was cut (it made perfect sense given the other talent and his $1.323 million contract), but it also makes perfect sense to bring him back now, which also just so happens to be an awful lot cheaper. | |

| The coaching staff destroyed him for being lazy is he miraculously going to change that now that he has a second chance?
Can we just cheat and put glue on all of the running backs gloves? None of them can hang onto the ball. Every time one of our runningbacks gets the ball in their hands I cringe and prepare for the worst. Remember the good ol days of Parker, Bettis, Harris, and Blier?? Those guys hardly ever put the rock on the ground. Back when a running game defined the Steelers.
This team has no identity. _________________ Win, Lose, or Tie, I'm a Steeler fan until I DIE!!!
