Gotham

I am a HUGE fan of the Dark Knight trilogy and like Batman as a super hero because he doesn't have "super powers" (unless being ridiculous rich and hitting the "sperm lottery" counts a super power ) so you know I had to tune in to the new series called "Gotham" on FOX. I watched the first episode so far (the rest are on DVR) and I gotta say I'm undecided so far. Obviously they want to throw a lot at a viewer right out the gate but my brain was a bit on overload trying to figure everything out. I'm definitely going to continue watching as I've heard good things about the show.

Is anyone else watching?

thought about it, but just couldn't bring myself to it. The story can only go so far and I'm overloaded with batman.

I watched the first 2 episodes. It's pretty good, but not as epic as I was hoping. I was hoping for a show with a dirty, grungy feel. But like most network shows, it's slick and overly produced. I'm an episode behind, but I'll continue watching.

I am now caught up. I do like how they are portraying Gordon, Catwoman, and the Penguin. It's also interesting how they are doing this back story and also keeping Bruce Wayne involved. I wouldn't say I'm "hooked" but I'm definitely going to watch.

I was 3 episodes behind, but I got caught up this weekend. I'm starting to get into it a little bit more as the story is starting to come together. With the relationship between Penguin and Falcone, I like how they tied everything back to what we saw in the first episode.

Wally, did you end up getting caught up on this? Thoughts? When does it start again?

Yeah, I'm caught up. Although during the hiatus, I've forgotten everything that has happened. I can't remember when it starts back up, but it should be soon ... in the next few weeks. I don't pay attention anymore ... I'll know when it shows up on my DVR.

Alfred got stabbed, Gordon has the love interest, Penguin owns the club, and Fish is running that underground society.

It looks like it will be back on next week.
