NO ACL DAMAGE BEN TO MISS 4-6 WEEKS

ttsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams with a knee injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. An MRI on Sunday night revealed an MCL sprain but no damage to the ACL in Roethlisberger's left knee, per Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports, with the quarterback expected to recover in four weeks.

If hes back in 4 weeks that means he will be just in time for the first Bengles game. That injury looked so horrible, and all he has is a sprained knee? This "man" is sure made of Steel or some other metal alloy. On NBC sundaynight football they said he has a mcl sprain and bone bruise and will miss 4-6 weeks, so those are kind of conflicting but either way Ill take it I thought he has gone for the season. One of the announcers (not sure who) made some smart ass comment that "the steelers will be lucky to win one game with vick over the next 4 or 5 weeks" Fuck him, we'll show him. Its a tough four games

Indeed even better than a broken fibula, although I think a sprain may be more apt to linger.

I only had the game on audio here but the way you guys and Tunch/Bill/Wolfley made it sound, it sounded like it could have been a season ender. Man he's tough. It's very unfortunate that he'll miss a month plus but Vick will have plenty of toys to play with and I have to say I do like what I have seen from the defense so far. NE game stank but we always struggle against the Golden Boy Shithead but we looked better against Kaepernick and looked very good against Foles today. Anyhow bring on the Ravens.

It was that dirtbag Rodney Harrison. He was slamming people for saying Peyton lost his arm strength and one of the other announcers called him out for syaing the same thing off camera

Thank goodness...that was such a brutal looking way to get hit

between him and chris collinsworth my tv will be lucky to survive the day with no bullet holes

I couldn't be any happier right now! Hopefully he will be ready for the Cincy game at Heinz.

Baltimore is reeling, and the Chargers game will be after 10 days' rest.  

If the Steelers win both of those, and split the next 4, I'd be ecstatic.

I'm hoping to make it to the Charger game and hellz yes I will be sporting my white #7 and feel 100% confident we will beat the chargers!!! Vick should get better with every practice, he haz WEAPONS!!!

Glad it is only 4-6 weeks but not the rest of the season as the Steelers season could be in danger. In those weeks.

So the sports news networks cover Tony Romo's injury for an entire week and make it the headlines of the show. I still haven't seen anything about Ben's injury. It's an afterthought. I guess the Patriots* putting up 51 points and cowboys losing is a much bigger story. Oh and Chip Kelly

I was on facebook and 24/7 sports had the article up and I had my finger crossed waiting for page to come up.

This team has to stand with Vick. That and the defense keep building on what they have going and this stretch without Ben will be easier to bear.

Man's a tank, hopefully he gets a nice standing ovation when he returns.

Beating the Ravens would be big. I know there 0-3 but one more loss and their season is pretty much over. I think they come into Pittsburgh loose and hungry.

I think the chargers game will be the easier of the two. I'll take 3-3 at this point, hoping for 4-2.

We need to cover Steve Smith, get to Flacco, and stop their run on D. Our O-line has to play better in this game then they did yesterday. Bell has to shake off the rust and hit the hole flying. Vick just needs to throw to AB  and Wheaton is proving his toughness. Also use Heath as his safety blanket. Maybe one or two long passes to DHB to keep their D on their heels.

This is a game we can win and drive the nail home for the Ravens. does anyone know how long Shazier is out for? We could sure use him playing like he did in San Fran.

If Vick and the D can get us past the Ravens, then we get Bryant back and that should help him out a lot.

Whats up with this statement from Tomlin?

Thought the time table was 4-6 weeks
