| 12 @Sea No Lynch? 13 Ind No Luck? 14 @Cin Imploding? 15 Den No Peyton? 16 @Bal No Flacco 17 @Cle Clowns
The rest of the schedule looks a while lot easier. Could we go 11-5 again? _________________

It sounds cliche, but it's always the way it has to be done. The minute you start thinking about the games down the road, you lose the one right in front of you. _________________ I'm a shell of my former self.

| My prediction is 10-6, while the Bungles will still end up 12-4...their sched looks pretty soft. Needed the Ravens win and that should have meant Wildcard for sure. Still think we have a good shot at the #5 seed. | |

| Looking at the schedule "from now" we have a chance to win out. However, that's IF there are no important changes in our lineup like Ben, Brown, etc... going down. The injury bug has been in bed with us all season. _________________ | |

| Baltimore rematch obviously becomes much more winnable with Flacco and presumably Forsett out - so win the 2 remaining home games together with Ravens and Browns road games Steelers should be favored in 4 of last 6, which gets to 10-6 and probably the #6 seed (Chiefs could win out and will win tiebreaker over Steelers at 10-6) | |

| Maybe we can be the team that comes off the bye and does that thing people like to say whats it called the 'statement' game.
But like someone said earlier, just worry about the current game on the schedule. Start looking ahead and that spells trouble.

| Oak, nyj and bills all losing this weekend helps. Sucks kc has been slowly sneaking back into it. If it comes down to a tiebreaker I think we will lose any meaningful tiebreaker. | |

| A look at the Steelers remaining opponents
By Mike Prisuta
With six games left in the regular season, here is a look at the road ahead for the 2015 Steelers.
A capsule look at the remaining teams on the Steelers’ schedule:
Nov. 29, at Seattle (5-5)
Offense: No. 10 (first rushing, 27th passing) Defense: No. 2 (10th rushing, second passing) Takeaway/giveaway: 12th (tied), plus 1
The skinny: Seattle has lost two games at home (3-2) for the first time since the 2011 season … The Seahawks are an NFL-best 23-5 in November-December games since 2012 … RB Thomas Rawls had 209 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries filling in for RB Marshawn Lynch in Sunday’s 29-13 home win over San Francisco. Rawls also caught a touchdown pass and leads Seattle with 604 yards on 101 carries (6.0 per carry) … The Seahawks have rushed for 100 yards as a team in 21 consecutive games … CB Richard Sherman has an NFL-leading 24 interceptions since 2011 ... Seattle led the NFL in scoring defense in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and is No. 7 this season (19.2 per game).

Steelers play 4 teams in serious playoff contention. Chiefs play 1, Texans play 3, Colts play 2, Bills play 7 (the NFC East is an open race), and the Jets play 4. The Raiders are still in it mathematically but they haven't done themselves any favours the last 3 weeks. So that head to head with KC will be massive for both sides.

| I'm hoping the Raiders can take care of the Chiefs in at least one of those games. We could use some help here or there, but ultimately we need to have our head forward looking one game at a time.
Take care of our own business and we control our own destiny. With the home stretch of the season on, and playoffs just a month and a half away, I really hope our team solidifies into who they are and what they do and really starts to come into their own dominant form through these last 6 weeks.
If we can beat Seattle in their own home without sustaining any injuries, we are going to be riding high moving forward. _________________ SF Member Since 2005

| Its really doesnt matter if us as fans concentrate one game at a time, it has no bearing on how the team plays. Yes the players have to stay focused but there is nothing wrong with speculation from the fans. _________________ | |

Here's hoping Cincy slips, giving us a chance to get that AFCN title. _________________ If you expect to play against the Joker, you'd best be prepared to be dealt from the bottom of the deck!

You do know how the playoffs work, right? If so please explain to the rest of us how having a home game as a three or four seed is less beneficial than going on the road as a number 5 or 6 seed, during wildcard weekend. For one... The AFC central winner is practically guaranteed the #3 seed (barring a Denver collapse). The AFC south winner has practically locked up the #4 seed. 1. Patriots* 2. 3. Bengals/Denver 4. AFC south winner Snagging 3 or 4 is the difference of being the home team or the road team. That's how this works.

That's how this works. Yeah you're right. See, the stuff you post here is so much better than the crap you post in the townhall just stick to the football forum. I didn't really look past the fact that we would be guaranteed to play a shitty afc south team if we got this 5th seed. _________________
