Honestly it would be really nice if Jarvis Jones would step up.  Having even a competent starting ROLB would make a move like this a lot more feasible.  Not a lot of huge short-or-long-term holes on this roster and if we didn't have to worry about plugging holes at OLB in addition to DB, we could afford to give up early assets in the next draft or two for a player of Ramsey's caliber.

I would love to see Ramsey on the Steelers. And I would absolutely love to see Hall go all the way back to the 6th round. This year is going to be a tough year to trade up (lose multiple picks), because the Steelers need quantity to build depth. As for stepping up, it would have been nice to see LT Walton or one of the other d-lineman progress more last season. I think that's why they are going to spend a valuable draft pick to provide depth behind Heyward and Tuitt. Otherwise you draft 4 cornerback, 2 safeties and a partridge in a pear tree.

Yeah I'd love Deiondre Hall in the 6th but he probably goes in Round 3 or 4 at the latest.

He ran a slow 40 at the combine and that will most likely prevent him from moving up (along with being in a slightly lower level of competition). But maybe the Steelers had a better time on their hand-helds. 6' 1" with extremely long arms.

I really think Mackenzie Alexander is going to be the pick round 1. Steelers are usually pretty quiet about who they like, and he seems like someone they really like but are trying really hard to not sound too hyped about to improve their chances of him falling to them.
