I'd be happy if they got their hands on Gesicki or Fumagalli. Gesicki is the better athlete and probably a bigger threat in the passing game. Fumagalli to me is Jesse James with a higher ceiling. Fumagalli is a good blocker, and a threat in the passing game as well.

I would be happy with him as a Steeler. Rather a talented one handed player who will play 200% than a guy like Malik Jefferson who will never give his best effort.

if the Steelers do draft a TE it won't be 3rd round or later Gesicki and Fumagalli will be gone early to mid 2nd to mid 3rd round Thomas might be there late 3rd round.

but Durham Smythe (4th - 5th round) is the run blocking TE that the Steelers are missing he's a TE that plays like a o-lineman. Vance and Durham might be the 2 TE set in the redzone the Steelers have been missing.

maybe have him lose 10lbs and play strong safety. he's way to light to be a 3-4 ILB.

Too much a lot of the time. I love DHB as a player, but when he was drafted by Al Davis for the Raiders it was because of his speed, and speed alone. A lot of teams, and coaches will put too much stock into what they see from a player at the combine. Look at John Ross of the Bengals, they drafted him last year because of his speed and he was non-existent. Now that doesn't mean he can't break out this season, but one would think with his intangibles he would've made bigger contributions even as a rookie.

For me the combine is a measuring stick, but it's not the be-all end-all. There have been plenty of guys who didn't really test that well at the combine, but they're monsters on the field. One guy who comes to mind is that douchebag Vontaze Burfict. We all hate him, but if you look past his dirty play the guy is a stud from a football standpoint. He didn't test well at the combine, and went undrafted because of his character issues but from his game film the guy should've been a first round pick.
