Chris Hubbard, the highest-profile unrestricted free agent for the Steelers, will sign a five-year, $37.5 million contract with the Cleveland Browns that includes $18 million in guaranteed money, the NFL Network reported Tuesday. http://triblive.com/sports/steelers/13417738-74/steelers-ol-chris-hubbard-to-sign-with-browns-for-5-years putting big money on Bell hope he stays healthy all season. _________________ When the truth gets buried deep Beneath the thousand years asleep Time demands a turnaround And once again the truth is found

| There's no way we could have matched that offer, keeping Bell or not. No sane franchise is giving a back-up 7,5M a year for 5 years, which is more than some of our O-line starters. | |

| Sucks to see Hubbard go. Good player, lots of in game experience, and the versatility to play different positions on the O-Line. Definitely weren't going to pay him that kind of money though, I concur. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt | |

| so i believe both ramon foster AND BJ Finney's contract up after this year. Finney has played as well as hubbard when given a chance. so who do you keep ? 33 yr old foster , or finney ? | |

| Bring back Foster on a 1 year team friendly deal and sign Finney to a two or three year team friendly deal and let him fight to take the spot. Draft a late round OL to groom for future. Foster still may have a few years left in the tank he has been solid for us. | |

This makes sense for the Browns especially after Thomas retired. He will start for them so he gets starter money. He may even slide right in to LT.

finney was starting for foster in two of the olines best performance of last year. the chiefs and texan games. finney is playing on a one year extention this year for 630,000. he is also the back up center. not too shabby for a guy that wasn't drafted and on the PS in 2015. mike munchak is worth his weight in gold.

| My boy Sean Welsh is versatile and could play Guard or Center in a pinch. Just the kind of guy the Steelers like to draft, versatile offensive lineman that can play multiple spots on the line. I have him mocked to the Steelers with our second 5th Round Pick. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt | |

- Chris Hubbard feels love from Steelers after signing 'unreal' Browns deal
PITTSBURGH -- Ramon Foster is the purveyor of the Pittsburgh Steelers' money-bag motif, using photoshop to update a master image each time a key member of the team nabs a new contract. Foster recently sent right tackle Chris Hubbard, who's fresh off a five-year, $36.5 million free-agent deal with the Cleveland Browns, a private bag photo that Hubbard won’t share publicly. http://www.espn.com/blog/pittsburgh-steelers/post/_/id/27657/chris-hubbard-feels-the-love-from-steelers-after-signing-unreal-browns-deal I know the Steelers couldn't match the money I like Hubbard a grounded person how had to take the hard road and worked his tail off and got the pie in the sky. he is old school Steelers football player unknown worked hard to get where he is to day and thinking life's work and family. pro bowler not really just a player who brought his lunch pale to work every day. good luck Mr. Hubbard. _________________ When the truth gets buried deep Beneath the thousand years asleep Time demands a turnaround And once again the truth is found
