| A lot of FAs worth looking at but I think anyone worth pursuing will be out of our range I think so we should go after has been/never had it type players to stock the shelf with. You know... Tomlin-esk budget basement players. I'm pretty sure Devonte Adams isn't going anywhere. Sheldon Richardson might could help out in the middle. | |

I'm pretty sure Devonte Adams isn't going anywhere. Sheldon Richardson might could help out in the middle. actually they could have a few bucks this year to shop. coulda been more had they followed my plan ,and ate the dead cap money this year instead of restructuring to keep the services of some of these guys for one more year. plus minkah and tuitts contracts they can extend and tweek. plus they can and should cut a bunch of the fat like shobert. they aint dumb enough to pay him 9 million next year... . i dont spend a ton of time watching other teams play anymore so im not really up to speed on other players. so if a guy wasnt giving the steelers fits then i likely dont know much about them if they arent big names. guys like davante adams or chris godwin arent realistic. they would eat up too much cap space. but unknown DJ clark might be had on the cheap. former 2nd round pick ,6"4" ran a sub 4.4. has a 1000 yard season. spent most of his 4th season in the league on IR. hasnt had the production but he plays for jacksonville. i'd also look at some of the Dlinemen and the TE's. would be nice to have a better 2nd option to pair up with muth. not sure how donta hightower looks these days. i really wanted him in the draft. but he is getting long in the tooth. other than maybe him i dont see much at linebacker.

One very good O Lineman. the saints are cap strapped so Terron Armstead looks like he will hit the market. he is regarded as a top LT in the league. the top guys are in the 23 million a year range. yikes. he is 30 years old. the redskins are already throwing numbers at scherf. he aint goin nowhere. the chiefs just traded a 1st for brown. cant imagine they will let him hit the market. duane brown is 36 years old. a bit old for a rebuilding team leno is an undersized tackle. the bears released him when they drafted jenkins. he is ok, but cant handle the bull rush. myles garrett would feast on him. Riley Reiff would be an upgrade to chuks, but he is like 33 and we still have yet to see what banner has. Laken Tomlinson would probably be an upgrade over dotson, but for the price difference i think riding it out with KDot to see if he gets better makes more sense. Ben Jones would certainly be better than green, but again, he is like 33. Jason Peters is 39 years old.

| Orlando Brown jr is only 25, not much in the way of false starts or holding calls. Can’t find how many sacks he’s given up but he may be a good get if we could outbid KC. | |

- On April 23, 2021, Brown was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, along with a second-round pick (58th overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft and a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, in exchange for the Chiefs' first-round pick (31st overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft, a third-round pick (94th overall), a fourth-round pick (136th overall) and a 2022 fifth-round selection
im thinking they intend to keep him for more than this year. they can slap the franchise tag on him if need be. he has given up 4 sacks this year.

He’s 33 but maybe can fill in while or if Green gets up to par. That’s if they don’t find a better prospect in the draft

That’s if they don’t find a better prospect in the draft i'd be down with jones. even charles leno. the problem is i think they would have to over pay for average players to get them. the center draft class this year is horrible and im sure the titans and every other team in the league that needs one know it. why the steelers didnt try to get leno this year speaks to the ineptness the FO has turned into. the redskins got him on a one year deal for a messily $5 MILLION. THE GUY MADE A PROBOWL IN 2018. i guess tomlin only "turns over stones" when they are getting their ass kicked. even stevie wonder could have looked at the roster and determined it isnt enough. every linemen not with a contract should have been considered and discussed. leno is nothing spectacular. he is a kelvin beachum clone. an undersized 7th round pick that overachieves. he relies on technique and fast feet. he isnt going to move people off the line and can be put on skates with a bull rush but handles speed rushers pretty well. he has a pff grade of 80 while dan moore's is 56. but he is credited with giving up 6 sacks.
