We picked up 1st rounder William Jackson from Washington. For a conditional 6th rounder. Not a terrible trade for a good CB if he can bring some stability to one of the sides.

It couldn't hurt that's for sure.

He's been injured a lot recently but has always been a quality DB.

I'll take it, I think he'd be a definite upgrade over Witherspoon at the very least. Plus Jackson can actually play some man, right now we got guys that can play zone. Jackson gives us more flexibility.

This season is going to be a rough one, but we're a few key pieces away from being pretty decent again. Just need to address the o-line going forward, and continue to strengthen the defense and we'll be fine.

This was a guy I was hoping we'd draft in 2016 but the Bengals got him and we got Artie Burns instead.
I agree if he stays healthy he should take Witherspoon's job.

For a 6th round pick it really wasn't a bad trade of we can get some games out of him. When he is healthy he can lock down a side pretty well. Here is to hoping he comes in and can contribute.

It isn't going to help us much over all the Offense is still a pile of steaming dog shit but it could help a little on that left side on the D.
