At halftime I started to think the announcers were going to talk right through and ignore the ceremony for Franco. I'm just glad they pulled it off and got the win. KP showed some grit and even though Canada has him throwing shallow routes his completion % was slightly over 65%. Now what if Canada (or whoever is here next season) actually builds in some intermediate to deep passing routes and the Oline can give KP some time in the pocket.After watching KP improvising and keeping his eyes down field last night I feel even better about his ability to play well in this league.

I think both QB's were having trouble throwing the ball for any distance in the cold - a lot of high passes by both. Might have factored in to that decision.
Still and all, a gutsy performance by our on-field general, Kenny Pickett. The more I see of him, the more confident I am for the future. He improves every game.
