Spooky Stuff and Stuff

I put this in miscellaneous because I wasn't sure...but with the Halloween holiday approaching, I thought some might be interested. (Excuse my blatant pimping!)

Gracing the cover of this months "Pin Up Perfection Magazine" is none other than my best friend, and sister by proxy, Macabre Noir.



It was a dark and spooky night with pin ups filled with dread and fright.... Welcome to our first Halloween issue! Gracing the cover is the dark beauty, Macabre Noir. We also have Pittsburgh's very own Bridge City Bombshells and Scare for the cure. Drew Edwards tell us about his comic "Halloween Man" and Flossie Carmichael shows that even pin ups love blood and gore! And all the Halloween pin ups you can shake a pitchfork at! Candy is dandy, but pin ups don't rot your teeth!

In the spirit of Halloween, I guess I'll also pimp a guy I use to be friends with. His name is Bill Schotten. We were in a band together in college, very briefly. He was a hell of a guitar player, but he gave it up to start making movies. He does everything locally and with literally no budget. But it's right up your guys' alley. My daughter and his daughter are good friends, so I've thought about asking him if I could get a small part in one of his films. Maybe like the town drunk or something. Here's a sampling:
