Harrison out; Ben should play
By Teresa Varley - Steelers.com
Posted 1 hour ago

The Steelers will be without linebacker James Harrison when they play the Tennessee Titans this Sunday at Heinz Field.

“He has a right orbital fracture around his eye socket,” said Coach Mike Tomlin. “That is going to be fixed tomorrow. Needless to say he is going to be out for a number of weeks. I will have more details regarding that injury and the rate of recovery after he has the surgical procedure tomorrow to get that fixed.”

With Harrison out, as well as Jason Worilds doubtful with a left quad strain, Lawrence Timmons will be moved to outside linebacker and Larry Foote will start inside.

“We have some adjustments that need to take place in terms of who is playing where,” said Tomlin. “We are in the process of doing those things now, specifically at the linebacker position with two outside linebackers being out. We believe that deems it necessary we move Lawrence Timmons to outside linebacker. We are going to do that. He is going to play right outside linebacker. Larry Foote is going to play inside. We are going to go on with that group.

“He has practiced there, he has played there before. Larry Foote is no stranger to the MAC linebacker position. We anticipate those guys being able to play winning football for us.”

Though I'm intrigued at seeing what Timmons can do at outside linebacker, I'm concerned about having Foote AND Farrior on the field at the same time holding down the middle. The only plus will be that we're assured at seeing some more of Sylvester inside spelling those two. I guess we'll see how well Stevenson can do.... like it or not. I have faith our guys can make this work till we can get Harrison back, but we're certainly going to miss James.

I saw this on Twitter so I thought I'd share:
Breaking: #NFL commish Roger Goodell fines #Steelers LB James Harrison $400,000 for "improperly fracturing his eye"

While it sucks that we are losing James for a few weeks, this Tweet was humorous.

I really like your thoughts here, but the question that bother me is Worilds I wonder why he is not starting. You always put the best on the feild and your are telling me that Foote is playing better the Worilds Harrison Out; Ben Likely and other injury updates 2583843358

Worilds is also out with an injury, a left quad strain ( http://www.steelers.com/news/article-1/Harrison-out-Ben-should-play/504e768f-9d55-419e-b029-c5405376c6fc ). We're becoming a M*A*S*H unit very quickly and for better or worse, we're going to see some changes regardless if the coaching staff wanted to or not.
