More shotgun for Steelers?October, 4, 2011
By Jamison Hensley
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he expects Ben Roethlisberger to play Sunday against the Titans. But there's still a question of how the sprained left foot will affect the starting quarterback.
Roethlisberger
The Steelers rely on the shotgun a lot already, running 41.3 percent of their offense out of that formation. That percentage could increase Sunday because Pittsburgh might want to limit Roethlisberger's movement on that foot.
Out of the shotgun this year, Roethlisberger has completed 57.8 percent of his passes, throwing one touchdown and three interceptions. His average yard per attempt is 8.3.
According to ESPN.com injury expert Stephania Bell, how this injury affects Roethlisberger's game depends on where the sprain is. It could be difficult for him to push off the front foot when throwing.

Well, at least Ben should see it coming and have time to see his life flash before his eyes before he gets killed.
