LaMarr Woodley is hopeful he will play Thursday night after sitting out the final three quarters today at Heinz Field.
But the Steelers' outside linebacker said his hamstring will likely be an issue the rest of the season, necessitating some sort of platoon with Jason Worilds at left outside linebacker.
"You've got to be smart about the hamstring injuries and can't play the entire game anyway," Woodley said after the Steelers' 35-7 win over the Bengals. "It's a rotation that's probably going to be going on the rest of the year."
Woodley said he and Worilds were supposed to share snaps today, his first game back after missing the Steelers' previous three contests.
Woodley said his hamstring got "tired," and that the Steelers played it safe with him, especially after they started pulling away from the Bengals.

| Rotating LBs is not a bad thing at all. Keep people fresh, and since both are slightly different it's can be difficult to game plan for what to do and when. Dickie L could use this as an advantage if he can run similar stunts and coverage with both...either way, it should hopefully open up the opportunities for others on the field to make plays. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available! | |

| Woodley Injury Appears Minor
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Steelers linebacker Lamarr Woodley returned to action Sunday from a hamstring injury sustained in Week 8 against New England.
He didn’t last long, however, leaving the game because of aggravating the same hamstring once again. The team is listing the injury as minor and he might be able to return for Thursday night’s game against Cleveland.
“LaMarr Woodley felt a little tweak,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said after the game. “There’s no major damage. He might be in play for Thursday night but we didn’t want to do any further damage to him today.”
