Playoff picture

If the AFC playoff pairings were based on current standings, the Steelers would be the No. 5 seed and open post-season play in a wild-card game in Denver. The Broncos and Raiders share the lead in the AFC West at 7-5. But the Broncos have the tiebreaker edge over the Raiders.

The other wild-card game would pit the No. 6 seeded Bengals (7-5) vs. the Texans (9-3) in Houston.

The Patriots (9-3) and Ravens (9-3) are the top two AFC seeds at this time.

I know you should never look past an opponent, but that goes for players and coaches ... not fans. Personally, if we don't win the division, I'd love to get Denver in the wild-card game. I don't see Tebow being too effective against our defense.

i was just talking to a co-worker about this very subject. i personally dont think i would want to face the denver tebows in the first round. i would like our chances better against a better team. obviously we should beat the tebows but there is something about the unknown that i dont like

I'd have no problem facing the Denver Tebows, at any time. Don't get me wrong I like Tebow, but I also believe that Dickie LeBeau will bring the pain to Tebow and that their defense can only handle so much of Ben, Wallace, Brown, Sanders, Ward, and Miller.

I disagree eff, if you watch Tebow his worst play comes from staying in the pocket. While I think we should blitz him, the best defense against him is to contain him in the pocket, have tight coverage and then let the coverage allow for the sack.

Throwing the kitchen sink at him, can - and usually does - open up running lanes that allows him 10-15-20 yards at a time.

what l mean throw the kitchen sink at him, Dick is going to give Tebow so many defensive looks when Tebow is at the line of scrimmage Tebow won't know whats going on. bet all game long what Dick shows Tebow at the line of scrimmage will be different then what they really run on that play. watch Dick sneak in a couple of corner blitzes, LB blitz up the middle. if Tebow is confused where to throw the ball and holds on to the ball a little to long then Harrison and Kesiel are going to get a sack or two each.

what l mean licking chops about putting a hit on Tebow, if Tebow runs because of confusion one of the Steelers LBs will be looking to put a big hurt on him. Tebow is not a fast runner, bet are LBs run faster then he does.
