| By Ray Fittipaldo, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Tomlin said he expects offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau to return next season.
"I anticipate it, but of course, we all understand what the end of the season is about," Tomlin said. "Movement is apart of it in today's NFL. We're going to work to maintain continuity as we always do. We believe that's a benefit to us. But we also understand things happen and we'll deal with those things as they arise."
While Tomlin hopes to maintain coaching continuity he acknowledged that some players played their final games as Steelers. Several veterans could be cut or asked to return for a reduced salary.

| So I guess this means that the offense strategy will be the same next season? I'm glad LeBeau is returning, personally. Wonder what vets will return with a reduced salary? Y'all know who I'm pulling for. | |

I think they have to be cut by June 1st or it counts against the salary cap. Also I don't think free agency actually begins until after the Super Bowl so we've got a few weeks.

| Think they will re-sign Cotchery? Seems like from everything I've read (and we know how that goes) that he is pretty happy in Pittsburgh. I don't see them starting him, though. He left the Jets because he wasn't starting.....or maybe because they are also slightly dysfunctional | |

He became vital down the stretch and had some key catches. I see him being on the Steelers roster next season, and possibly even the 3rd WR. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

I just posted a thread with a link to chat transcript w/ Ed Bouchette it's got a tiny nugget regarding Hines and Cotchery. For what it's worth I think Cotchery will probably try to land somewhere that he's at least a #2.

| Yeah, thanks.....I just read it.
Crap......I just can't see the Rooney's releasing Hines after all these years. I don't think that they won't be able to "force" Hines to retire, so it would more than likely have to be a cut. How's that gonna look? That just doesn't seem to be the Rooney's style.

How's that gonna look? That just doesn't seem to be the Rooney's style. I read some things today that made me rethink the Hines situation. If we lose Cotchery, which we very well could, that increases the likelihood of them keeping Hindes, if he agrees to take less money and be happy as the No. 4 receiver. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. I thought Hindes was in the military? He now plays for the Steelers!? AWESOME! I wonder if he'll give us free tickets? _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

| Hindes is certainly experiencing a drop off in productivity. It's like he's non-existent! _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

We need an editor around here. Either that or we need Hindes to change his name so I stop confusing him with Hines. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.
