I'm a little worried that Haley could be too aggressive/antagonistic to coexist with Ben. I hope I'm wrong and maybe that's what he needs to change his bad habits, but it's just a feeling I get from seeing some of Haley's sideline antics in the past.

I have faith that Tomlin and the FO will make the correct decision that best suits the team.

I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it, but I guess it's not a bad feeling

Yeah, I did the same thing with Bruce after Whizzy left and it bit me in the ass

I'm torn on Haley. He might be difficult to get along with. On the one hand, that could create a disastrous situation. On the other hand, maybe that's exactly what Ben needs. Maybe he needs someone to get in his face and tell him to THROW THE F'N BALL AND STOP LOOKING FOR THE BIG PLAY EVERY TIME!!!!!

I wouldn't mind Todd Haley.

Coach Mike Tomlin continued his search for an offensive coordinator when he interviewed Todd Haley today at the team’s practice facility.

The Steelers are looking for an offensive coordinator to replace Bruce Arians.

Haley, 45 on Feb. 28, most recently worked in the NFL as the coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. Hired there in 2009, Haley took the Chiefs to the AFC West title in 2010 but was fired 13 games into the 2011 season with Kansas City at 5-8.

Haley interviews, unlikely to get Arians' job

Former Kansas City Chiefs coach Todd Haley, an Upper St. Clair native, is the latest candidate to interview for the Steelers' vacant offensive coordinator position. But the possibility of him being hired to replace Bruce Arians seems remote.

Haley, the son of former Steelers personnel director Dick Haley, was at the South Side facility Tuesday to meet with coach Mike Tomlin -- an interview uncharacteristically announced on the team's website.

Haley is the second former head coach to interview for the position. Former Indianapolis Colts coach Jim Caldwell was at the Steelers facility Saturday. Caldwell never was offered the position and agreed Monday to become the Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach.

Haley's interview was something of a surprise because he has a reputation for not getting along with players and coaches. He was the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals when they lost against the Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII.

I'm curious as to why Dulac says the chances of Haley being hired are remote? Is it because of his reputation? But didn't the Steelers know about that before they took the time to interview him?

I'm leaning toward that just being Dulac's opinion. He says that it "seems remote." And it appears that he's basing his opinion on Haley's reputation. But like I said, the Steelers knew about his reputation before they brought him in for an interview, so I don't think that would automatically disqualify him.
