Oh yeah...sites been suspended. That's different from any of the server problems I've ever encountered.

Something to do with IPower (the webpage host), obviously.

He's had issues with them in the past where the site has been threatened with suspension. He either didn't pay the bill, or didn't comply with one or more of their terms.

Ric seems to have the passwords to the IPower login now (you'd need it to ban IP addresses), he'd know more than any of us what the real issue is.

I should note, that one of the issues before was the fact that IPower felt the site was being targeted by spammers (which it was and still is). There was threatening of suspension back in November. He did what he needed to do at the moment, or it would have been shut down sooner. Apparently, the underlying issue was never resolved.

Yeah, it's not a server issue, it's something to do with the host. I've ran a VB board, and in my opinion, the host bill wasn't paid. What was he threatened with before? Not complying with what?

Yeah, it's nothing to do with VB. VB just hosts the forums. IPower hosts the homepage.

Yeah, I know. I've used IPower and Hostgator.

To be honest, i've always had issue's with IPower. Hostgator and GoDaddy aren't so bad, though.

Sort of. But it wasn't suspended like this. That time was more of a warning.

We'll know in a half a day or so what's going on for real. It'll either come back, or it won't. They typically give you 48 hours to fix whatever was wrong.
