its always hard for me to root against the pens......not this time. go flyers

I've heard the crap all season long from cryers fans after every victory over the Pens, but now it's time for revenge!

IMO, the Pens do not have that 'attack' mentality once they get a lead. Similar to the Steelers, once they get a lead they sit on it. I'm sorry but against the Flyers, that is not going to work.

i cant believe the flyers won this game. i turned it off after its was 3-0

side note: i visited SU yesterday and they had a pens section so i chimed in with pretty much the same post as i did here. 1 persons response was "Go to hell. Find another thread, this is for Pens fans. "

I just saw that it was Zu who made the comment. He's a good guy, and I think he was just busting your balls a little. He's passionate, and I wouldn't be too offended by what he said.

Meanwhile, I'd never tell anyone what they can and can't do, but I'm not in favor of stirring up shit over there. They wanted a bunch of us gone, and we're gone. This board is better anyway. Dissenting opinions are welcome here and won't be crapped upon. So Va can cheer for the Flyers and talk about them all he wants.

Well, ZU scalded me earlier today for absolutely no reason so i'm assuming he's just having a bad week

And yes, it's an emotional time for Pens-Flyers fans right now and it's easy to snap. I just let him know about it, because it isn't the first time he's went off. I'm assuming it's just a bad week

One thing I gotta say....that is going to get them in trouble if they move on. You see how the Pens are in trouble right now? Yeah, that's b/c Bylsma never addressed the defensive issues they had when they were winning all those come from behind games during their 11 game win streak. Caught up to them. Both teams defenses and goaltending are struggling right now. Say the Flyers move on...what happens when they encounter the Rangers, or Boston? Boston is extremely solid on defense and goaltending right now. The Rangers have had the Flyers number all year. Lavy's gotta get his D in order too.

And stoopid, Stoopid, STOOPID penalties! Combined with the sloppy puck handling, we're lucky this game isn't already out of hand. Right now the flyers have all the momentum.

This isn't PENS hockey, this is some other crap!

PENS need to fight aggressively, but controlled, handle their assignments as well as the puck!
