Here's where we can list the scenes from movies that turned us into bubbling messes.

Pretty much all of Schindler's List, but especially at the end when he was saying that he could have saved more people.

The part in Moon where SPOILER Sam Rockwell's character finds out that his daughter has no idea who he is.

The lighthouse scene in Shutter Island brought me fairly close to tears.

I got a bit choked up during the last 10 minutes of The Green Mile.

Since my dad doesn't post (and this is one of my all time favorites): He went to a small school in high school and played basketball. He also is a person I have NEVER seen cry or show saddness. One day I walk in and he is watching Hoosiers and I notice he is crying.

I say "Dad?! Are you crying?!" and he replies with "They were such a small school" Scenes That Made You Cry 3562723908 Scenes That Made You Cry 1549491426 Scenes That Made You Cry 3562723908 Scenes That Made You Cry 1549491426

1. The final few minutes in the movied "Miracle"
2. The last 10 minutes of "For Love of the Game"
3. Almost any movie that's based on a true story and has a rags to riches type plot.

Scenes That Made You Cry Empty

One that always gets me is the scene towards the end of Bellini's Life is Beautiful, when Guido is carrying his son through the concentration camp to hide him away and is killed shortly after and he tells him "You are such a good boy. You sleep now. Dream sweet dreams. Maybe we are both dreaming. Maybe this is all a dream, and in the morning, Mommy will wake us up with milk and cookies. Then, after we eat, I will make love to her two or three times. If I can."

The whole movie is brilliant...so sad and funny at the same time. It's about a Jewish family (mother, father and son) who get taken to a concentration camp (father and son are split from the mother) and the father does his best to keep his son hidden when guards are around and tries to convince his young son that this is a game and there is a reward at the end.

I was happy to find one of my favorite scenes dubbed on Youtube.
