Haha...yeah they have subtitles on Netflix for those. I don't think they have Rare Exports on DVD through Netflix. It's something we have downloaded. (Don't know if you do torrent downloads, but I know it's on a few sites.)

These are the shorts that the movie was based off of (Rare Exports Inc. and Rare Exports: The Official Safety Instructions). Just an awesome flick all around.

I think i just found it on StageVu, downloading now. The youtube video certainly makes it interesting . Just watched a movie called "Red State" last night, that movies crazier than hell! It's on NetFlix streaming. Also, check out this site: http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/

It's sort of an alternative to torrents and what not, I tend to find lots of good quality shows on their.

Red State is awesome! Great Kevin Smith flick!

Not something you'd expect to see from Kevin Smith, but surely a good flick! The biggest surprise for me was John Goodman being in it, wasn't expecting that. Also, Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil. Watched it last night and couldn't stop laughing. It's like a spoof of all horror movies in general, and I really enjoyed it.

That IS a great flick! (Quarantine SUCKED!). The second one was good too.

I really enjoyed REC and the second installment. I walked out of the movie theater on quarantine. Sometimes it's just best to leave foreign films alone.

My thoughts exactly. I'm sorry you had to pay money to see that piece of junk though. It's crazy, because it was basically the same story, same dialogue...everything. It's just Jennifer Carpenter suuuuuuuuuuucks.

Hollywood has done a surprisingly decent job of remaking Norwegian/Scandinavian horror films though (and other genres). I really enjoyed Let Me In, Brothers and I'm excited to see the remake of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Right now though, for me, the Scandinavians have a clear advantage on the horror/thriller market. There's so many that are just a breath of fresh air. (Trollhunter!)

Yeah the acting was sub-par all the way through Quarantine, and many other remakes of foregn films are the same way. It's just hard to successfully recreate movies like that. But man, REC had some parts in it that caused me to leap clear off my couch! It reminds me of the first time I watched the Exorcist

Nowadays just about any movie from any genre is either a remake, or a recreation of an already existing movie. I guess all the thoughts and ideas have been used up! I love watching a foreign film every now and then , regardless of genre, just because it seems their films are superior to some of what's released nowadays here at home.

Well, then I'd definitely recommend some Scandinavian flicks to you, if you haven't seen many. They are just about my favorites right now. They have a bunch of good ones on NetFlix if you have that (even streaming). I'd say watch Trollhunter, Girl With the Dragon Tatoo and Let the Right One In before anything else. Oh, and Rare Exports. That's a hell of a story! More original than anything you'd find in Hollywood.

Just finished "let the right one in". I loved it, great movie. Everything, even the dialogue was spot in. Going to watch trollhunter tonight, iv'e seen dragon tattoo.

You will absolutely love Trollhunter. Such a fun movie.
