Correct. But in both those games, the score was tied. That's not the same kind of pressure as being down and needing a kick to win or at least send it to overtime. And those kicks were from 38 and 41 yards. Let's not put him in the Hall of Fame based on that.
It's the AFC championship game. The Steelers are down by 2 points with 2 seconds on the clock. Suisham lines up for a 48-yard field goal to send the Steelers to the Super Bowl. How confident are you that he makes it? | I don't know about you, but I'm never confident with anybody with a kicker over 40 yards. I see no reason for Hrapmann to deserve any confidence at this point either when his career average in college was under 75%.

I'm not exactly "confident" or even "comfortable" with him, just saying i'm impressed that he's made all of his kicks, and two of them we're in the clutch. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

Yeah, I have no reason to be confident in Hrapmann either. If they feel Suisham is the better of the two, then fine, Suisham keeps his job. But I don't want them to be content. I hope they keep looking for someone else, much like how we brought Reed in out of nowhere. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. | I'm liking that kid they have down there in Baltimore, but it's looking like he might beat out Cundiff.

| The reason Steelers coach Mike Tomlin fired his special teams coach had nothing to do with special teams play
Ed Bouchette:
In today's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Gerry Dulac reports that his teams' performance had nothing to do with Al Everest getting canned. This is the second special teams coach Mike Tomlin has fired. If he doesn't watch it, he'll keep pace with Bill Cowher's record with special teams coaches.

| It is odd, but i'll definitely give Tomlin the BOTD. He knows how to field a Super-Bowl team, and I trust in his decisions. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

Yeah, I'm sure he had a good reason. It just seems that the reason isn't related to how well Everest was doing his job. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.
