| Well, this entire off-season I've bitched and moaned about Wallace's actions, and i'm starting to disagree with those instances more and more. Now it seems, as many have tried to tell me, that is was just a business decision, all of this. A lot of the media has tried to perceive him as the bad guy a majority of this off-season, and because I was pissed that he wasn't participating, it didn't take much to anger me as well. He comes back today, the players love him, the coaches love him, and more importantly, there's no animosity and jealousy within the locker room. That's huge when you consider teams like the Jets. The personal problems and arguments inside the locker room and on the field. With Wallace, you can't doubt we're a better team with him, and you can't doubt that he gives us a better chance at winning. You can doubt his worth, though, because of his drop-off in performance last year, as you can also add up the reason as to WHY he performed badly the second-half of last season. But, in my opinion, none of that matters. What matters is: We're a better team with him. Wallace, thanks for signing the deal! Hopefully the Steelers can move forward and sign him to the bigger deal now that he's in house, and more importantly lets hope that another big deal doesn't bankrupt us down the road. You guys have to understand, I wasn't around for any Steelers holdouts. The only one I've ever experienced was that of Ward, and he was back before the end of camp. Not to mention Wallace isn't a Hines Ward. ...Yet. So there you have it. I've taken my foot out of my mouth. My apolagies to Wallace108, Dodens Grav and anyone else I may have cursed at this off season out of my anger of Wallace's antics! PS: This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q & R we're eliminated. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

| I've never been big on him but I'm ok with him being here and I would have been just as fine if he would've been traded we have enough speed on offense(with or without him) IMO. We did Put 38 on buffalo 26 on Indy and 23 on the eagles, just saying _________________ F@(k Wallace.. Throw it to Miller

| As I stated in another Wallace thread, this wasn't about practicing or getting in shape or even being a team player, this was certainly about Wallace doing everything within his power to not get injured during training camp. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available! | |

Fer, we put up most of our points against teams' scrubs: Points with Starters vs. Starters against Eagles: 3 | Scrubs vs. Scrubs: 20 Points with Starters vs. Starters against Colts: 14 | Scrubs vs. Scrubs: 12 Points with Starters vs Starters against Bills: 14 | Scrubs vs. Scrubs: 23 So, as you can see, our backups have secured and won our games for us a majority of the time, with the lone instance being when the starting offense outscored the scrubs against the Colts. With Wallace attracting double-teams, he helps this offense, and with Haley calling plays, this offense can be DEADLY. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

I guess I just don't care for he guy, but it has nothing to do with him holding out there's something about the guy I just don't like he's like a TO or an ochocinco in the making _________________ F@(k Wallace.. He gave up on shit too early a lot of the time, and seemed to pout when Ben overthrew him. Couple that with him talking on the radio about "how he can see himself playing for the niners or Patriots**" and him holding out of camp. It didn't look good. However, if you've read the latest on Wallace, you're damn sure going to see the words "the past is the past" (no really, you can't MISS it) and i'll take his word for it. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

I've been critical of Wallace, but he made it in before the season started, so now I'm on board and willing to cut him some slack. Now go out there and prove how much you're worth, Mikey!!!! _________________ -"I stand corrected...
