I dunno, I'm no physicist, so I don't know if it's possible or not, or if this is fake or real.
This was interesting though (from the first link posted), apparently there is a 3D animation school in Montreal that holds an annual "hoax the Internet" exam.

LOL ... I'm such a sucker. I didn't even question it. It's so obvious after watching that zoomed-in video you posted. The kid hangs in the air for a second after the eagle "drops" him.

Oh, definitely, and I still think it's funny too. I never would have questioned it either if it weren't for some of the comments on Youtube lol.
The penguin video looks good too for the most part, except halfway through you can kind of tell that it's a fake penguin. But well done for some college students.
