Harrison wants to rejoin Steelers

Now that he's free to sign with any team, veteran linebacker James Harrison hinted Monday that he has his eye on a return to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Harrison appeared on "NFL Total Access" with Dan Hellie and Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor to discuss the franchise's legendary teams for "Dynasty Week."

When Hellie asked where Harrison wants to play this season, Taylor immediately jumped in with "Pittsburgh."

Harrison's response: "Everybody knows that."

With LaMarr Woodley out of the picture, the Steelers could use Harrison as insurance for 2013 first-round draft pick Jarvis Jones.

Training in Arizona, Harrison said he's going to "go until the wheels fall off" or "until nobody want to put wheels on it."

I would welcome James back!

It would be nice to have him back in the black and gold, but would he take reduced role? Lord knows he's had back problems the last several years and his performance has suffered because of it. I think he'd be great as a reliever, giving the starters rest, and/or a designated pass rusher

If the price is right I'm all for signing him. Let him retire a Steeler and forget "who dey"was he played for last year.

Washed up...he did nothing in Cinci...left because he wanted more money and wouldn't take a pay cut...even as a back up, I wouldn't want him, and I doubt the Steelers would either which is why they let him walk over a year ago.

I am on the fence about him coming back.  On one hand, he did great for us and was a beast.  He could be a great mentor to J Jones.  On the other hand, it's like he took us to prom and then went and screwed our sister (aka the Bengals).  Wouldn't quite look at him the same after that.

Steeler Nation seems to be split on Harrison's return. From an emotional standpoint, of course it would be great to see Harrison back in the Black and Gold and retire as a Steeler. But does it make sense from a football standpoint? Maybe, maybe not. Whether he returns or not, I'm fine with it either way.

I'm bored, it's a relevant thread, and you can never see this pic too many times ...
