Fantasy Football

OK first off, so this isn't a dead thread, who plays fantasy football? I've commisioned a league for 12 years, and for the first time in over a decade, I'm having a problem predicting my lineup. I'm 0-4 and need a win this week!

So secondly, and the crux of my wanting this new section:

WHO TO START:
Roethlisberger vs. the Jags or Kaepernick vs. KC
Jordan Cameron vs. Ten or Dwayne Allen vs. Bal
Golden Tate vs. Buff or Fitzgerald vs. Den

HELP!!

I've never played fantasy football, so my advice is as close to useless as you can get. But I would think starting Ben (against the Jags) would make more sense than starting Kaepernick (against the Chiefs).

I'd go with Roethlisberger, Allen & Tate.

Yeah, I am with you Bay and Wally...Really on the fence about Allen. Bmore has the #1 defense against tight ends so far this year...zero TD's.

That's what I was on the fence about, myself. Allen has reeled in a few TD's and some good yardage this year, though, more than you can say about option #2. That is the only "hmm" pick.

I know Cameron hasn't done anything really, but can Allen keep up that pace??? No way, he has to drop off. And who is Hoyer gonna throw to anyway? Might as well be a big bodied safety valve like Cameron. TE's are PPR in my league BTW, but only a point per 20 yards, not 10. WR's are non PPR but 1 pt per 10 yards.

It was a borderline decision for me, honestly. Could have went either way.

Seen Allen reeled in a Touchdown and was wondering how Cameron was doing, i'm guessing he didn't? I'm no Fantasy Football expert -- not by a longshot. I was basing my suggestion off of statistics. That can bite you in the ass a lot.

Cameron caught three passes. You can bet I'll be playing Allen every week over him now.

I've got Luck, AB, Julio Jones, Moreno, Smith Sr, and I still have AP on the bench until he's either officially out of the league or done for the season.

I've also got the Seahawks DEF. Witten is my TE, and I've got a few secondary level players on the bench.

The previous two weeks I've scored near 200 points

Pretty stout team. I have Julio too and he has been the only regular producer on my squad. I also have Seahawks d so let's hope for a dtd or two tonight!!!

I used to detest fantasy football because I felt like it took away from real football (by having to root for other players/teams). 2 years ago, I was driving back from Florida and my buddy posted a cry for help on Facebook: he needed one more team for his league and the draft was in an hour. I was riding co-pilot and I thought: "Eh, why not?". Thus, the Inbred Mongoloids were born (we were in West Virginia).

I snuck into the playoffs as the final seed that year (everyone made it), and my team got it together and I won the championship (beginners luck).

Last year, I won 4 games (losing many by just a few points).

This year I started 3 and 0 and was on pace to win game number 4 until that damn TE from KC wrecked it all on MNF.

The common players I had on all 3 versions of the IMs is BR7 at QB and Calvin Johnson.

This years team:
STARTERS:
QB - BR7
RBs- S. Jackson, A. Morris
WRs- C. Johnson, R. Cobb
TE- Heeeeeeath
Flex- A. Ellington
D/ST- Steelers
K- Crosby

BENCH:
Welker, Olsen, Bowe, Tannehill, Fleener

Yup looking good yak...so I got another pickle here and need some help: who should I start at flex this week:
Cameron vs steelers
Shone Greene vs jags
Fitzgerald vs skins
Wheaton vs clev

I would go Greene or Fitzgerald.

I went Fitz who had a decent day...but not as good as Cameron

Worst. Fantasy. Year. Ever.

I am one game away from the championship. I needed 30 points going into Monday and got it.

Last year was a bad year for me, so I feel your pain Drizzy
