| By: Steel Dad If the Pittsburgh Steelers learned anything on their weekend off it’s that no one is going to hand them a playoff spot. I would argue they should have learned this lesson last year when they were left to rely on a kicker from Kansas City to get them into the postseason. We know how that worked out… Yesterday the Steelers watched as division foes Cleveland and Cincinnati both posted victories on the road. The Browns survived three interceptions by Brian Hoyer and welcomed the time management guffaws of Atlanta Coach Mike Smith to win in the Georgia Dome. The Bengals’ win was more impressive in that they defeated a Texans’ team that was still clinging to playoff hopes but couldn’t ride a shaky Ryan Mallett to victory. The Bengals played well, but I didn’t see anything that makes me think the Steelers can’t at the very least split with them over the final four weeks of the season. Tonight in New Orleans the Baltimore Ravens will look to stay even with everyone else in the AFC North by beating the Saints. The good news for them is that New Orleans has dropped two in a row at home where they typically never lose. The bad news is that the Saints are just as desperate for a win. | After last year, I'm not counting on ANYONE to help the Steelers out. Throughout this year, it seems like we have had to play the opponents AND the refs. Definitely have to finish strong. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| After another laugher with the Jets, it makes me sick to my stomach that we lost to them. And it's going to come back to haunt us later this season... _________________ Win, Lose, or Tie, I'm a Steeler fan until I DIE!!! | |

| Yeah Drizz, both Tampa and the Jets are going to haunt us. Think what position we'd be in if we would have won what should have been winnable games. Oh well, water under the bridge at this point. We can't afford to lose any more games this season because Cleveland and Balti don't seem to interested in helping us out. _________________ | |

Yeah because with the way the other 3 are playing we will have to win out and hope Cleveland and the Rats lose at least 1 more so we win the division.

| Listening to the Saint's game, I don't think we need to worry or think about the playoffs.
Our D is just bad, and our offense is inconsistent. If we somehow make it, I believe we will be eliminated the first round. I'm not being negative, just realistic. _________________

| I don't even know what to say at this point. We score 19 points in the 4th. We couldn't find our ass with both hands today on both sides. I couldn't watch it and waslistening to it on the computer. It sure sounded pathetic to me except Bell was running pretty good until Haley quit calling his number. I don't know enough about the game to say a lot so I'll shut up for now. | |

Same here, just listening and reading some game threads on other forums. I can't figure out BR7. He play like the best in the league for some games, and like a rookie in others. Bell and Brown are about the most consistent players on the team. They show up week after week. On a positive note, the Clowns and Ratbirds both lost today. _________________

| If we play like that again, we can kiss the playoffs goodbye. The AFC is too good right now to be losing games. Give the Saints credit: they are a decent team with a bad record. You can never sleep on Drew Brees and he showed us that today.
We are again struggling to find an identity. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| We have an identity, we can't win to teams with losing records, and our secondary is beyond piss poor. _________________ Win, Lose, or Tie, I'm a Steeler fan until I DIE!!! | |

Not quite the identity we want to have. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak
