| Suisham hurt, my god. Nothing but drama when we're losing, even a preseason game and it looks and sounds ugly. *shrugs regretfully* _________________ Stuck in a SE Ohio Tech. school with a bunch of high schoolers. | |

| Alright, now I'm blaming Jones because that's not his first time overthrowing a receiver. Sorry, I'm not giving the man a pass all night. _________________ Stuck in a SE Ohio Tech. school with a bunch of high schoolers. | |

| Collinsworth worth just said he thought Beachum was our best Ol....
Dear god....if there is true weak point on our O it's our OTs.....we saw how much they got exposed when Bell wasn't back there to make the defense think a little.

Compared to what....the revolving door we've had on our OLs before last year... Beachum gives everything he has but he doesn't have the size to go up against the better pass rushers. Gilbert has a little more talent, but he doesn't hold up well either...... Thank goodness that we have enough weapons to give us a chance at hiding them. _________________ Previously known as: Steel_Bus_24 Member of Steelers Fever forums since 06

| Idk what this team proved tonight. Not thought too much about it. But 3 points even in preseason is pathetic. _________________ Stuck in a SE Ohio Tech. school with a bunch of high schoolers. | |

| You can thank a putrid game from Jesse James for that...
The big thing about this game that sucks is that suisham may have significantly hurt his knee _________________ Previously known as: Steel_Bus_24 Member of Steelers Fever forums since 06

Thank goodness that we have enough weapons to give us a chance at hiding them. Beachum was one of the best LTs in the league last year. Our offensive line is the best we've had in years. Their play has easily allowed us to become one of the best offenses in the league. You can have all the playmakers in the world, if your guys in thr trenches aren't getting things done it doesn't matter who you've got for playmakers. On another note I thought the defense played pretty well tonight. The offense had a couple of good drives but they didn't capitalize. My two biggest goats for this preseason game are Landry Jones and Jesse James. Jones was totally inconsistent, and inaccurate. James was awful. I'll give him somewhat of a pass since he's a rookie but he was not focused tonight. Should've had a rather easy TD catch, and then there was that fumbling of a catch that ended up as an interception. I did like Villanueva though! He looked like he was playing with toys out there. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt

| Nope sorry...I saw the Jets, jags,Bucs,Ravens,Texans pushing them around way too much last year....
Are they loads better than they used to be...for sure
But what are we talking about here.....We are talking about being Super Bowl caliber good....the defense isn't going to be as dominant as it used to be, so there is far less room for error on the O.
We lost Bell, and the Ravens tee'd off on Ben, their pass rushers weren't worrying about him catching the ball out of the backfield and pinned their ears back. Gilbert was particularly awful that game.

Of course, if you have no semblance of a running game then of course the defenders are gonna pin their ears back and tee off on the qb. that was more of a lack of a threat of a running game, hardly any teams in the nfl can run a good offense playing 1 dimensional.

| I'd like to see Antonio not be put at risk on punt returns.....but that bobbled PR surely didn't help archers chances of taking over that duty.
I know Antonio has had some big time plays doing that I can't shake that "playing with fire feeling" when he's back there _________________ Previously known as: Steel_Bus_24 Member of Steelers Fever forums since 06

| Are fans really stressing a preseason game where virtually no starters played and being an extra game, nobody seems to get that the coaches arent going to burn out anybody of significance on the team.
That being said, some of the guys I hoped to see something from were:
-Landry Jones, had a good first half, but drops and misses by Coates, James and a few others kept some points off the board. Second half he got rattled by the pass rush and threw off balance and made some bad throws.
-I didnt notice any of the young guys at safety that I hoped to see step forward. Holiman, Wild, ??
-Jarvis Jones got the night off and I really didnt see much from Dupree, other than him not setting the edge in the run game.
-Shazier looked to maximize the little playing time he was going to get.
-Villenueva doesnt sit down and bend well, nor is his kick slide or punch good. He makes up for all that bad technique with his size and athleticism, which should get him on the 53 as a guy Munchak can coach up further for 2016.
- Kevin Fogg seemed to be near the football a lot. I think he has a real good chance of being the final CB on the team.
-Boykin and Gay showed that they are solid Cover 2 corners that can play outside technique and react to plays in front of them.
-LT Walton didnt show much at all. I would have to say Kruger looked the best of the reserves.
-Howard Jones didnt take advantage of the reps he got. Chickillo only saw action in the 4th and made a couple nice plays, including a tackle on a run off left tackle.
