| The Seahawks signed a new kicker – Jeff Reed, who finished last season with the San Francisco 49ers after kicking 8½ seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In fact, Reed ranks No. 2 on the Steelers’ all-time scoring list (919 points) behind Gary Anderson (1,343).

| Attention all towel dispensers in the Seattle area. Be on the lookout for a drunken, sulky NFL kicker with diminished skills and a chip on his shoulder. He is easily agitated and prone to fits of bathroom rage at the slightest provocation. He was last seen in the Bay Area sporting a bleached blond "Jersey Shore" haircut and menacing a hand dryer.
