I am just curious has he officially announced his retirement? I have not seen where he has said anything at all about it. I know the Steelers retired him but have not heard nothing from him.

Troy gave an interview to a paper in Uniontown last April as his method of announcing his retirement
“It’s our Holy Week this week,” the Steelers safety told the Uniontown Herald-Standard. “Our Easter is on Sunday. I’ve been in church and had a lot of time to contemplate. It actually hit me today in church that, ‘Man, you know what? You’re done....
The 33-year-old spent his entire 12-year career as a Pittsburgh Steeler.
“Thirty-three is obviously significant because of Christ being 33; and 12 years, 12 apostles,” Polamalu told the Evening-Standard. “I’m not superstitious by any means but I always thought that if I played 12 years and retire from football at 33 and give my life and give my body and give my blood to this game, I think that would be a pretty significant landmark in my life.”

I don't know what's weirder...
Troy's rationale for retirement or Russel Wilson explaining how God guided his arm to throw that pick in the SB to teach him a life lesson to make him stronger.

You must believe. And half faith. And be one within yourself. And cease the moment. And, did I leave out any other cliche's?

I think he should come out of retirement, it would be an upgrade to this "defense" or "d f n se" as I call it

You forgot, "It's God's will".
Which reminds me of what George Carlin used to say; "...if God's gonna do what he wants anyway, then what the fuck is the point of praying for anything in the first place?"

I love a George Carlin religion rant!!
The one where he announces he is a sun worshiper, because he prefers to worship things he can fucking see. Great stuff.

Burn from Ed B. of the P-G in his chat today
Somebody want to send a text to Troy, I'm sure he's in game shape.
Ed Bouchette: He wasn't last year, so why would he be now?

Bill Maher's movie, "Religulous" does a good job of lampooning ALL religions.
