All good, like I said that I'd gladly eat my words if it happened

I'll eat crow too. After last week against the Ravens, I was pretty despondent. Almost two years in a row that a Harbaugh Ravens team bumped us from the playoffs. I'm just happy to be back in the playoffs.

Well after correctly predicting the jets meltdown I expected my usual haters to have their temper tantrum, and I was right again, again. That along with my monsterous performance in the pick em contest should cement me in a forum genius and all around expert.

Fitzpatrick record against the Bills wasn't good. Rex was gonna rally to try and spoil the Jets hopes. We had a chance, but should not have put it in somebody else's hands last week.

At least somebody here is able to sack up and admit they were wrong. Others... not so much.

You mean like :
-all the fans that thought Landry Jones would get cut this year? -all the fans that thought Wheaton was a bust and should be released next year? -the fans (and coaches) that like how physical Blake is and think he just needs time to develop as a CB? -the fans that thought Jesse James was a bust because he dropped a pass in the preseason?

Well, I was just referring to today's game day thread, but that works too.

Hardest Schedule in the NFL and you win 10 games. Not a bad year. You are in the playoffs and thats what matters. The question now is, can the Steelers be focused for the next 4 games? One game at a time, blah blah blah, we all know the Steelers are a team where its Super Bowl win or bust.

Not too bad for having a fat QB, a RB who has crappy top speed (but leave him alone because he's injured), and a moron for a head coach.
New season starts now. Can this team do the improbable? I believe.

I have been wrong about everything this season pretty much.
It begs the question though, am I wrong about Blake?

I'll admit I've been wrong about a lot of shit. When it comes to some things I have also been right, I guess that's what happens when you have opinions on things. I just find it funny how there are like 4 or 5 members here that can't help but try to tear everything I say apart. Haters, lol.
It is clear Tomlin has clock management issues, and he has made some gutsy calls that didn't pan out.... But hey were in the playoffs.... It was a long crazy ride but were here. I want to see Ben And Antonio light the world on fire. I wanna see the defense bend but not break! I wanna see number 7!!!!

Hey now. I resemble them remarks. Actually I was wrong about Jones and Blake. I figured Blake had to be better than Boykin because they were starting him. I was way wrong and I'll eat crow there. Jones has improved and I was wrong there. As far as Wheaton and James I have been on board with both of them.

I hear ya.
I could see Blake's technique and lack of closing on some routes as red flags of his not being a starting corner. Just like I could see Landry Jones being more decisive in the preseason (but again his footwork is sloppy, although improving). When fans jump on young guys with good skills because they are not a finished NFL product in year 2 its annoying to me. Lots don't understand how well Cockrell is playing for being a 2nd year guy.
the Steelers defense is really not that good, but all bets are off in the postseason and everybody just needs to put in one solid game at a time. Lets ride this wave as far as it takes us.
