Anyone indulging into this game? I'm 50 hours in, and not even close to being done.

Not yet but i plan to buy it soon. I been told by some it's the best rpg that came out in a while.
How's it compare to DA: Inquisition?

I never played any of the DA series.
Regardless, you won't regret getting The Witcher. It's that good. I'll be purchasing the last expansion set as soon as it comes out (rumored in June). The game truly lives up to the hype and praise.
I haven't bought it yet, but I plan to at some point. I've heard that it is a great game. I'm playing The Division still. I haven't had much time to play anything at all the last couple of weeks though.

My only complaint is the difficulty. I put it on normal at the start. By mid game, you are a walking tank that overpowers everything.
I would set it to the hard level. I think the game calls it blood and broken bones.

For what it is worth, the last DLC for the Witcher III drops today [I think].
Blood and Wine is set to be the last Witcher piece ever. As one of the major game review companies said, "This is the victory lap for CD Projekt RED and the Witcher franchise. [...] Expect a lot, but this really is the end for Geralt."
