| NEW ORLEANS - Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward doesn't appear worried about his left ankle injury.
Heyward suffered a high ankle sprain in the first half of the Steelers' 27-14 win over the New Orleans Saints on Friday, a source confirmed to ESPN.
Early Saturday morning, Heyward tweeted an image of the X-Men's Wolverine flashing his metal claws.

| Hope he could make it back for the bengals game....but those high ankle sprains have to be taken care of.
I still remember the pummeling Ben took in San Francisco because he couldn't move because of one of those injuries. _________________ Previously known as: Steel_Bus_24 Member of Steelers Fever forums since 06

Cam Heyward still in a boot, still says he playing in opener. Doctors told him it's a grade 1 or grade 2 high ankle sprain.

https://twitter.com/rayfitt1?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor Unfortunately, as with Gilbert, players don't get to make those decisions about playing. They have a voice, but not the final one. And that's for their own good. | |

NOTES: Cam Heyward (ankle) confirmed that he practiced in a limited capacity Monday and issued "very close to a guarantee" that he'll be playing in the opener Monday at Washington.
