After Watson's injury Harbaugh apparently now wants to eliminate preseason games and go to Goodell's wet dream of more TV $$$ with an 18 game regular season.
"If you go more games, fewer preseason games and bigger rosters, that's good for everybody," Harbaugh said. "To me, that's something that they can put their heads together and work out. It would be a positive."
Asked for his thoughts on the right number of preseason games, Harbaugh said, "If I had my choice, I'd go none."

That obviously would avoid injuries in preseason games but result in teams being even more decimated with injuries by the end of the regular season with starters playing full time in 18 rather than 16 games. Of course the preseason could be cut back to two games with no extension of the regular season but then teams could not charge full freight prices for the two preseason home games - it's all about the Benjamins
