| I know there were some recent rocky times, but I hope this gets done. I love reading this sort of comment from players the Steelers are trying to lock up - Antonio Brown wrote:
- Asked this week on "The Dan Patrick Show" about the contract, Brown said both sides are "beginning to get it rolling" and that he wants to finish his career as a Steeler.

| He is a big piece of what the team does. On the WR diva chart he is pretty mild. He's not in the Ochostinko, TO category. Honestly he is kind of in the Golden Tate kind of area.
Brown signs, Ben and Bell are back, but need another playmaker in the draft. Cant rely on Martavis Bryant or Ladarius Green.

| I hope they lock him up on a contract. Not his fault they didn't have a reliable no 2. His number would've have been even better if Bryant, say, had stayed clean.
I actually think a reliable No. 2 and solving the mystery at CB were the keys to the season. Those two things would've got us over the hump this year (maybe a better pass rushing plan at the AFCG too)

| This would be a big deal out of the way. Anyone who watches him play knows how valuable he is to us.I know Art II says his antics are a minor distraction. What if this is the tip of the iceberg? Ocho Cinco started out funny. I'm not saying AB is heading that way but I feel like some sort of safeguard should be in his contract. | |

| Sounds like Brown wants to be a Steeler for life, they need to leverage that against him. I think the Steelers have put the hammer down with Brown and made it clear that they're tiring of his antics. I think he knows that as evidenced by his comments that he knows he needs to grow up. Brown surely has to know what happened to Santonio Holmes. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt | |

| The only antics I want to see from him moving forward is scoring TDs, and handing the ball to the official. Then going to the sideline to celebrate. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available! | |

Precisely what we should see from Brown next season. Spot on. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt

| Celebrate all you want. Don't cost your team 15 yards and keep the locker room private. Its that simple. | |

| 16mil per year, 5 year deal. That way he's the highest paid receiver over AJ Green and that's all he wants to inflate his ego. However, that won't be guaranteed money... _________________ Win, Lose, or Tie, I'm a Steeler fan until I DIE!!! | |

| Love Brown I just hope they don't break the bank with him. His antics this year are cause for significant concern and we have other players that need locked down as well. | |

This will be where the rubber meets the road. Brown has mentioned he wants to retire a Steeler. He should be well aware of the fact that in order for the team to make a Super Bowl run other players need to get under contract too. He'll have the option of getting paid or working for a ring. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

| If he's smart he makes 'roughly' 12.5/yr over 4 or 5 which takes him to what 33/34?
