| Looks like a possible extra 20 million for the Steelers in cap space projected between 166 to 169 million this year. After signing Bell and Brown it's a nice bump to sign Timmons, Tuiit, Harrison and maybe pick up a FA.

| Since the team has some room and basing this off the top 101 from NFL.com here would be my choices of someone to sign in order & based on ranking (main ones in bold) http://www.nfl.com/freeagency#tab=rankings
13 - Stephon Gilmore 15 - Trumaine Johnson? didn't know he was ranked that high 20 - DeSean Jackson; I know he still has the speed and since we can't count on Bryant is it a smart move? I'm not sure 23 - Nick Perry 30 - Pierre Garcon 31 - Logan Ryan 46 - Prince Amukamara 60 - Kenny Stills

| I really wouldn't mind DeSean Jackson, but he's going to be priced out of our range based on the other teams who have a lot of cap room.
Garcon would also be a nice fit, and feel he may acctually fit better in to the Steelers locker room.
Kenny Stills could be a quiet addition and another locker room fit. IMO, Stills is that quiet person no one notices until it's too late. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

| Can't see them signing anyone big.
Players like Kenny Stills will be getting $12mil per year (His asking price, per Miami sources). And he's not that good. _________________ Known as BLACK_AND_YELLOW from SF

| Another good article on what's left of the cap after Brown, Bell, and Harrison signings. Good projections about where the money is probably heading as well in solid "Steeler way" fashion.

| Brandon Marshall will be released. I wonder how much he would cost. A paring of Brown and Marshall with Bell in the backfield would be a nightmare to any defense. | |

This ^^^ Signing big-name free agents isn't the Steelers way. Having more cap space means we can keep guys we would have lost in past years. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

He will probably want big $$$ though, so I don't see us signing him. However, I agree, Brown + Marshall + Bryant + Bell + Green would be insane. We possibly would only need Boz for kickoffs then, because it would be TDs+2 on every drive.

We possibly would only need Boz for kickoffs then, because it would be TDs+2 on every drive. Report was that he declined an extension from the Jets. He has never been to the playoffs and back in last December he said he would join a playoff team if the Jets cut him. He may be willing to take a pay cut in order to play football in January. The last thing I want to see is the Pats** getting him.

You might want to stop reading this post now. There reportedly is mutual interest between Brandon Marshall and the Patriots*Brandon Marshall is no longer with the New York Jets, but he might get to play against them twice next season. According to a report from the Boston Globe, there is mutual interest between Marshall and the New England Patriots*. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/there-reportedly-is-mutual-interest-between-brandon-marshall-and-the-Patriots*/ I'm also seeing the Ravens mentioned a lot. I don't care where he goes, as long as it's not to the Ravens or Patriots*. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

| He wants a ring. A sure fire way of knowing you have a shot is not being greedy and hooking up with the Pats*. Right now that is the team that has proven to everybody they are the team to beat and Marsha isn't going to retire any time soon. Steelers sure as hell don't have an answer as to how to beat them and I surmise we will see them again in the AFC Championship game next January only to get torched again in the second half by Billicheat and Marsha. | |
