Dobbs playing solid tonight. Damoun Patterson making some nice plays. Offense has looked pretty good. Defense predictably making mistakes with 2nd and 3rd stringers on the field, but also playing well in some areas. Sutton and Sensabaugh with an INT apiece.

I agree with just being able to watch highlights. The announcer said it was a great throw by Dobbs but I saw it more as a great catch. The back flip was cool too.

It was a great throw AND a great catch. Dobbs put the ball where only Patterson could get it, and Patterson made the adjustment and got it.

QB's: Jones, Dobbs and Rudolph all did a decent to good job. Dobbs will be cut I guess and probably added to the PS. WR's: Washington and Patterson looked like the real deal. OLB: Both Adams and Adeniyi impressed me. Okorafor: Hold his own, first at RT, later at LT, showing his versatility.
-
ILB: Bostic was barely ok, Matakevich is way too slow for this level. Also Thomas didn't show anything. We need to pick up a LB somewhere, because an injury of VW or Bostic will create a lot of problems. RB: Except for Conner, very very poor. Toussaint, Ridley and Samuels were all weak.
I guess all the hype Patterson has been getting is legit. He might make DHB expendable.
thanks to bells ransom you may be right. the steelers got work to do to get under the cap. keeping patty over bey would save about $900,000. plus you get a player who may one day turn into a legit starter unlike DHB.
my beef with tomlin and company is they tend to keep average to below average players on the roster for too long.

Never had game pass till last season and only caught 1 pre season game which looked like a practice. Yesterday's game seemed of a much higher intensity. Was this normal ?

I think it was just a good game, not a lot of mistakes or ugly play. Pretty polished for a Preseason matchup, especially in the first game of the season.
