| Well today had moments which reminded us why these two teams tied in week 1. It also had moments which reminded us why this team was a pre-season Super Bowl favorite. With all that in mind, give us your game balls and goats for today. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available! | |

| Gameballs: James Conner: he's a baller O-line: there were moments I thought they forgot to show up, but overall they did a good job Defense: with the exception of some stupid plays in the first, they did their job until trash time
Goats: Special Teams: too many mental breakdowns Haley: for years he would run bubble screens. Has he even ran one in Cleveland? _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

| Gameballs
- Conner - He was gashing the Browns. By the end of the 3rd, you could see the Browns D was gassed.
- OLine - Played fantastic, giving Conner good running lanes, and keeping Ben clean for the most part. Nod to Big Al. He did a fantastic job against Garrett, minus the only sack given up.
- Haden - Looked like an all pro today.
Goats
- Special teams - awful breakdown on that play.
- The entire team - didn't show up to play until the 2nd Quarter.

The team for beating the Browns. I was about sick to death of hearing Browns fans and how they surpassed us because they tied TIED week 1
The Browns for keeping Hue Jackson...3-36-1 says it all
Conner of course
Goats
Special teams...those plays cost games against worthy opponents. _________________

| Game Balls:
Connor. I don't know who all saw the stats they showed during the game but comparing last year with Bell and this year with Connor we're ahead in every category!
O line. Started out rocky but pulled it together and by the 4th Ben could write home before throwing the ball. Their D was worn out mostly by Connor.
D line. Started out slow but applied pressure on Mayfield most of the game. Enough to rattle him.
Ben/ AB. They share one because they started out slow but hooked up and it looks like they're finally on the same page. I think Ben's good play offset his forcing the ball enough to avoid a goat and earn 1/2 ball.
Dupree. I thought he was a big part of keeping pressure on Mayfield. Probably one of his best games so far.
Goats:
STs. The defense gets a safety and they reward them by giving the Browns the ball back on our 30. Since the announcers said Nix signaled a fair catch I'm pretty sure that was on him. Boswell kicked the opening kick short and if it weren't for a penalty they're almost on our side of the field to start the game. Pretty sure Danny WTF Smith told Boz to do that. Here's a hint Danny. That shit ain't working!
Officials: Multiple non calls that should have been called on the Browns. A block in the back on a punt.A block in the back where their LT rode ( I'm not sure but I think it was ) Tuitt to the ground from behind. TJ got his face mask pulled on the Mayfield run for a 1rst down. Several holding calls they missed and at least 1 PI. Just a really sloppy game from the refs.

yeah, saw those. The ones that really stuck out for me was he has 3 games of 100+ rush yards/50+ receiving yards thru the first 7. Bell had 1 all last year. Also, he tied Franco for most TD first 7 games of a season _________________

| The Special Ed teams. But their coach was Dan Marino's coach in high school so he's qualified. Drunk Toddy was fired today in Cleveland. Saddens me that Art II saddled Ben with that drunken cuckold for 6 years. Trade Deadline tomorrow. This team needs a solid WR. They don't have faith in Washington, and Hunter can't get open for the most part, and Switzer isn't anything either. I would have given up a #1 pick for Cooper like Dallas did. | |

IMO, that's a risky trade for Cooper. The Steelers, typically, don't take that type of risk in trades. On top of the fact our biggest need isn't a #3 WR as much as it is players to solidify the holes at LB and DB. But that's for another discussion _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

We could probably get Martavis back for a 7th round pick with how Gruden is trading away his players.

| game ball Conner and the o-line the way they punished and wore out the Browns defensive front in the 2nd half.
this is why I like Conner over Bell. _________________ Missionaries, they gone to spread the word of God. Mercenaries, they gone to spread chaos...

| Great game, I only got to watch it in snippets. Coworkers invited me out to a local sports bar for the Jets-Bears game as one of them is a Bears fan, and the other is a Jets fan.
They had the Steelers-Browns games on but it's kind of hard to watch when everyone else is there for other teams, and the TV that was showing it was across the room.
Still happy I got to see it for the most part though. Good win, but a lot of mistakes of the variety that would've cost us the game versus a better opponent. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt

Dupree is quietly having a good season so far. 3 sacks in 7 games, 1 pick 6, 1 forced fumble and now the safety. The transition to ROLB has helped him well.

They said that's the side he played in college and I think sending him out in coverage constantly didn't help. I agree he's playing a lot better so far.
