| With changes coming in Carolina, Panthers owner David Tepper could consider tapping into his past and trying to pry loose some personnel people from Pittsburgh.
There are those around the league who believe that Tepper is eyeing Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert, whose contract is up after this season, and/or vice president of football and business administration Omar Khan, according to league sources.
Tepper was a minority owner of the Steelers but is in the process of selling his interest in Pittsburgh.

I'll never understand why so many Steelers fans are so quick to want to dump Colbert. He helped build a team that won 2 Super Bowls. And when those players retired, he brought in guys like Heyward, Watt, Tuitt, DeCastro, Dupree, JuJu, Washington, Haden and Fitzpatrick (via trade/signing), and, yes, AB and Bell. Cobert doesn't hit a home run every time, but no GM does. I can't think of another GM who has amassed more talent over the past 20 years. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

My knock on him is how he handled both the Bell/AB situations. To be fair Tomlin had a hand in it. Last yeah Dupree wouldn't make the list but I hear you. (Minkah and Nelson aside). Of couse there's Nat Berhe,DonteMoncrief and Morgan Burnett.

Things are handled differently now than they were under Dan. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

At least with Dan there was stability and with Art II we don't know what will happen. Dan cared about the league, his players and us fans. I think all Art II cares about is money.
