Week 2 - Broncos at Steelers

D is playing good the O is looking suspect once again.

The first thing I noticed was Claypool on STs. Tackle on the opening KO. In on the first punt STs and 84 yd TD. He reminds me of Bryant with a lot more drive and maturity.D is playing really well and we know Ben can air it out.

And the Broncos are back in the game because of shit play calling on Offense and really stupid penalties on our D side...

Game shouldn't be this close.

Running game HAS to improve - or every game is a toss-up.

Got the W but played like absolute garbage the second half of the game on Offense and some really dumb penalties on our D.

Ben's passes were pretty terrible the WRs made some amazing catches for him today. Very few were on target a lot of throws behind receivers or way out in front.

We have beat two pretty crappy teams... the Offense plays like that against the leagues playoff teams we will get smoked.

Steelers offense needs to call more bubble screens. like the offense when it's clicking but still a work in progress dropped passes and some bad ball placement by Ben on some passes. defense seemed to take the foot off the gas. still the same style presser QB defense always has holes in the back end and seemed not to adjust some in the 2nd half.

This was a sloppy game that in the past we probably would have lost. There were also a 3 PI calls that didn't happen. 2 on us and 1 on them. Fitz played lousy for most of the game.Ben was off and Dionte dropped 2 or 3 he should have caught. The referees missed a fumble that Tomlin didn't challenge. We had the return called back because of a penalty.
What I did see that I liked was the Oline pass protection in the second half. I can't remember the last time Ben hit a WR in stride 55 yards down field. Claypool on STs is a sure tackler and seemed to be the first guy there all day. My stream froze so I missed Connor's long run late but from what I heard Watt made a great block to free him up.
The bottom line is we won even though we played bad. I'll take it.
