l'm really looking forward to this match up, imho the Titans have the best rushing attack in the NFL and a huge test for the Steelers stingy run defense. l see the Steelers calling a lot of run blitzes in this game.

Derrick Henry is a beast and will be our strongest challenger yet. Stop the run on your way to the QB. This should be a good game.

It looks like there may be some problems with the game:
Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings close facilities after Titans players test positive for the coronavirus
The Tennessee Titans have closed their facilities until Saturday after three players and five team personnel members tested positive for the coronavirus, the NFL announced Tuesday.
The eight new positive tests have been confirmed after additional testing, a source told ESPN's Kevin Seifert. Those who tested positive have been asymptomatic as of Tuesday morning, a source told ESPN's Dan Graziano.
The Titans, citing an "abundance of caution," issued a statement saying they halted in-person work Tuesday. The Minnesota Vikings, who played the Titans on Sunday, did the same, though the team said there were no positive tests through Tuesday morning.

ESPN reporting it's not official but they're planning to get the game in:
The Tennessee Titans have closed their facilities until Saturday after three players and five team personnel members tested positive for the coronavirus, the NFL announced Tuesday.
The three players -- starting nose tackle DaQuan Jones, long snapper Beau Brinkley and practice squad tight end Tommy Hudson -- have all been placed on the Reserve-COVID 19 list.
While no official decision has yet been made about the Titans' game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Nashville, the NFL wants and intends to have that game played as scheduled, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
One of the contingency plans to allow for additional testing and contact tracing would be to move the game to Monday night, a source told ESPN.

did anyone really think these overpaid dumbasses would follow team or league rules and practice social distancing ? they cant even lay off the drugs or performance enhancing substances in order to not risk their multimillion dollar jobs. they wont even give up their homies from the hood who are bad influences. so why would anyone think they would do the things necessary to lower the risk of getting covid ?

It was their LB coach who got it first, not one of their players...

If and when this game gets played the Steelers need to stop the run. While we've been playing well defensively in stints this is the first good team we've played. The best team we've played so far was the Texans and we struggled more than I would like to admit, especially considering the fact that the Texans traded off Deandre Hopkins in the offseason. We did manage to shut down Saquon Barkley in Week 1, but that wasn't that impressive to me considering the caliber of team Barkley is playing on. Not exactly world beaters. Nobody is scared of Daniel Jones, and everyone knows who the best player on the Giants offense is. Not exactly a hard team to gameplan for. The Broncos were better on paper, but they're still not exactly in the upper echelon of NFL teams at this point.
Henry isn't as talented as Barkley in my opinion, but he's on a much better team, running behind a much, much better offensive line. Our guys will definitely have their jobs cut out for them. They need to fly to the football and not let Henry build up a head of steam. I think they need to force Tannehill to try and win this game. I expect a lot of run blitzes, with our secondary playing more man coverage and trying to force Tannehill to throw the ball into tight windows. Nelson/Haden will need to be on their game and not allow guys like AJ Brown to get on top of them.
On the other side of the ball, we'll need to be sound offensively. The Titans defensive unit is one of the more underrated units in the league. They are a good, balanced unit but they can be beaten. I think if we just continue to be balanced offensively then we'll have success against the Titans D. We cannot turn the ball over against the Titans, we'll need to take care of the football, such is the case for every game, but the Titans D is opportunistic and they tend to capitalize on turnovers.

I need someone smarter than me to explain what difference a day or two will make in terms of safety. This feels like the NFL doing something just so they can say they did something.

The NFL is rescheduling the #Steelers-#Titans game to later in the season after an additional Titans player and one personnel tested positive for COVID-19. It will not be played Week 4.

And this is absolute B.S. So the Steelers are penalized by having their bye week this early in the season.

I was thinking the same thing. Early on it was a 15 day quarantine. Now it's a day or 2 postponement. Typical Goodell run NFL. I read earlier about how there were several false positive test among players so far.One of them was Stafford who missed a game before he got tested again and it came back negative. By several I mean dozens but they said it was better to be cautious. I'm telling you this is all political. That's all I'll say about that out of respect for everyone on here.

Well really quarantine takes fourteen days two weeks. Just hope the Titans can get better. COVID sucks!

Kinda sucks having a bye week this early, but such is life.

Are they calling this a Bye week? I'm now wondering how we'll even make this game up. Uncharted waters here.

They need to push the playoffs back 2 weeks and give teams some wiggle room for an 18th and 19th game week. Some teams might get an extra buy week. Got to learn to roll with the punches.

Steelers and Ravens were scheduled to play Week 7, and both had byes Week 8. So that game was moved to Week 8. In Week 7, the Ravens will take their bye, and the Steelers and Titans will play on what would have been the Titans' bye week.
The Steelers are the losers here. Not only do they now have an earlier bye week, but the Ravens now have a week off to prepare for them.
The NFL got lucky that the Steelers' and Ravens' schedules lined up and there was a relatively easy adjustment. I'm not sure what the option would be if the existing schedules couldn't be adjusted. As teams start taking their bye weeks, we could find out. As SteelerFreak mentioned, they should have built in a week or two at the end of the season for make-up games.

The Chiefs showed the league how to beat the Ravens. So we need to follow that blueprint. I petition the NFL to make that week the Chief's bye week and send MaHolmes to us for one game.

I have no concern at all regarding how the changed schedule will affect the Steelers, Ravens getting a bye week ahead of it, etc.
The way things are going, there are going to be a lot more disruptions to the schedule than this. We will still be lucky if the NFL reaches the playoffs before having to shut down.

NFL stresses new COVID-19 protocols in memo; violations causing schedule adjustments could result in forfeiture of games
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to all 32 clubs on Monday regarding COVID-19 protocol compliance, and in it introduced new measures for increased safety and repercussions if they are not followed, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
