The Good:

Big Ben- Bounced back nicely with 298 yards passing, 1 TD and no INTs.

Mike Wallace- Awesome well rounded game with 126 yds receiving and a touchdown.

Troy Polamalu- Seemed to be flying around the ball all day.

James Harrison- Looked good.

Emmanuel Sanders- Made some nice plays.

Antonio Brown- Making me forget all about Stefan Logan.

The defense overall- A nice shutout win and good rebound from last week.

The Bad:

Goal line offense- Why is Redman not on the field inside the 5 yd line?

Yet another bubble screen- Will it ever work?

The Ugly:
Thankfully, nothing seems to fall into this category this week. Good game, fellas! Steelers-Seahawks The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly (Week 2) 348340646

I'm going to start with ...

The Ugly
At halftime, I went outside to get some air. A couple of my neighbors were having an "issue." I had to do some real-life moderating and ended up missing the rest of the game. It's the first time in at least 15 years I've missed more than a play or two of a Steelers game. But football is just a game. Our personal lives are far more important.

The Good
We won convincingly, which we all felt we had to do. And the Ravens lost. So I tend to think that the Ravens played better than they are last week, and we played worse than we are. We're all even again. Game on!

Anybody who doesn't think the Steelers have the best group of receivers in the NFL doesn't pay attention. Hines can still play, and our young guys are studs.

Mendy and Redman looked awesome.

The O-line struggled early but looked OK by the second quarter. Foster looked better than I thought he would.

The Bad
As I said, I only saw the first two quarters, and I didn't see anything that qualified as bad. I'll have to read what other people say and get a sense of what I missed.

I won't re-hash what's been said, so I will just point out a few things from the game:

The Good:
Wow! Did you see Hines Ward's toe tapper on the sideline and Mike Wallace's scoop catch?! Those plays were awesome.

The Bad:
Troy's tackling at times. I liked how he was around the ball very often, but his "torpedo tackling" wasn't getting the job done. I'd like to see him wrap up a bit more rather than just rely on momentum.

The Ugly:
Troy's missed pick 6. It's only ugly because he made a BEAUTIFUL read on the play, jumped it, it hit in him in the numbers, but he failed to cash in- which would have started his highlight real for this season (and now I'll have to wait for next Sunday).

It was an AWESOME game by the Steelers and we really stuck it to the Seahawks. Anyone else feel the weight shift from everyone getting back onto the Steelers bandwagon?
