Kendrick Green moving to FB?

Quote :: The Steelers lost a fullback earlier this week when Monte Pottebaum abruptly retired. They might have discovered a replacement during their annual Friday Night Lights practice at Latrobe Memorial Stadium.

Kendrick Green, who has struggled to find a home on the offensive line, aligned at fullback and H-back and was the star of the two-hour workout. He pancaked outside linebacker Toby Ndukwe on a block that got the nearly 14,000 fans in attendance on their feet. He also caught a pass in the flat and turned up the field for a nice gain.

“I felt like a kid again playing backyard football,” Green said afterward.

This wasn’t the first time Green played fullback for the Steelers. During Ravens week last season, Green played fullback on the scout team, mimicking gargantuan Baltimore fullback Patrick Ricard.
