I would snag a DL, OT, or CB with the #17 pick. One of those two LBs will be there at #32 and either will work in the system well.
I like Campbell from what I have seen and read about him the guy has a never stop motor and is in and around every play on the field. He is a run stuffer he will just need to clean up a little bit on his coverage.
Don't get me wrong I would be happy with Simpson at #32 as well he is a hell of an athlete and would fit in well waving the towel.

Picked up Cole Holcomb from Washington replacement player for Spillane. Might push for a starter spot. He is coming off a foot injury so we will see. He is young and seems like a solid pick up.
From what I am reading a few different people believe this is an upgrade over Spillane and believe his coverage skills are better. So that's a bonus. Hopefully he will be a good solid addition to the ILB room.

Holcomb very underrated signing. Before his injury he was the team captain in Washington and wore the green dot. He had no help around him, but still played very solid himself. He's a better LB than most people think. He's a not known name because he got drafted low and never got any hype, but Gregg Rosenthal had him as 44 in his top 100 FA list. The only Steelers who made that list were Sutton at 15 and Ogunjobi at 97.

For the fucking life of me I can't understand why they have not released Trubisky... that is a lot of cap money going to waste. Not to mention Whitherspoon

Bring back Dobbs and let Trubisky walk. IMO this would be a lateral move talent wise and we'd have a little more cap space.

That or draft a QB in round 6 or 7 that has similar skill set as Pickett and let him learn. 4 years cheap contract just might have a replaced for Pickett if he ends up bombing or getting more concussions...

I have no problem with the Steelers Keeping Trubisky, He's a quality insurance policy plus him and Pickett get a long, Trubisky is a sounding board for Pickett questions they have a good practice competition
Like these 2 year deals and the quality of players Steelers are bringing in.

1. Myles Murphy, DE/DT, Clemson 2. Jaelyn Duncan, OT, Maryland 2. Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma 3. Jaylon Jones, CB, Texas A&M 4. Andre Carter II, DE/OLB, Army
Yes I went heavy on the offensive and defensive lines imho where the Steelers need to toughen up and get younger all for are athletic for their positions.

I love that idea. You guys all know much I like Dobbs. He played pretty well last year - and he's so smart, he'd make an excellent mentor for Kenny.

He'd fit in at slot WR which the Steelers are thin.

At least find out what kind of money he is looking for. That would be a quality FA signing.

This is a really good signing if he can stay healthy. Weidle is bringing in a lot of his player picks and that makes me feel a little optimistic. We needed an upgrade at Guard and have brought in two already.

Would like to see the Steelers double dip OTs in the 2nd round could get future LT and RT in this draft? The guard and center position look great going into the new season.
