Less than an hour after a game in which he showed he still has it at age 33, Cameron Heyward was hesitant to express the Pittsburgh Steelers were committed to bringing him back for a 13th season.
I see Cam being on the team in 2023, at least he's being real age 33, salary cap hit, his health and the NFL being a business #1st.

Cam still plays at an extremely high level. I'd be extremely disappointed if he weren't a Steeler next year.

Cam is still a force out there and has been healthy for years. Got to bring him back but also draft a DL with the intention of spelling Cam more and letting the DL learn a little as the season goes along.
One thing is he is a team leader and those are hard to replace. He knows the Steeler way and has been the consumate Steeler outside and inside the locker room. That is hard to over look especially with so many young guys in the room now. We need Cams leadership now more then ever.

He deserves to retire a Steeler in 2 or 3 years. He's not only HOF caliber on the field but also off of it and in the locker room.
