Subject: San Francisco 49ers at Pittsburgh Steelers 09-10-23 Gameday Thread Tue Sep 05, 2023 3:41 am
Just a gameday thread being put up in advance for the Week 1 season opener. Can't wait for some Steelers football. Might be able to actually watch some offense for a change, being a Steelers/Hawkeyes fan for the past couple of years has been a pretty miserable experience in that regard!
I hope they sign Bosa in advance of this game, I want him to play. I don't want any excuses from San Fran fans if we beat them Sunday.

oh F that. i hope he/him ( is that his pronouns ? ) and kittle are BOTH a scratch. if niner fans cry about it i would happily drink every salty tear . Bosa is a could be threat to picketts health. what if Bosa plays and knocks kenny out a few games with a concussion ? it will all your damn fault !!!

We got to test the oline at some point. I'm leaning towards the "no excuses" side. Show us your best SF and we'll match or exceed it. TJ or Alex could just as easily knock Purdy out. I can't wait to watch it.

Right now we are ranked in the middle of the pack and we deserve that after last season. I think Khan made some savoy moves in FA. I like this draft and want to believe we improve in all areas. Especially on the Oline with depth. I'm not sure about Chuks and why Jones is behind Moore Jr. but what the hell do I know...right? What I want to see from this defense tomorrow is a strong rush,pursuit,gang tackling and clean coverage.None of this lining up 10 yards off of the WR.They can still check the WR at the line right? I wondering how long it takes JP Jr to take Wallace's job. I'm pretty sure we'll see him in sub packages until then.
