That is a shame. He was definitely a difference maker last week.

it looks like Johnson will play, Cam and McFarland practicing again too....
Steelers' Diontae Johnson, Cole Holcomb, Larry Ogunjobi cleared to play against Jaguars
Quote :
Each of the two players who remain on injured reserve but are practicing — defensive lineman Cameron Heyward and reserve running back Anthony McFarland — went through a full session Friday. That’s notable in Heyward’s case because it is the first full practice he’s attended since September surgery on an injured groin.

Glad he can play. Hope he is at least close to a hundred. Certainly don't want to see the injury worsen. Like said above he is a difference Maker.

The offense is definitely better with Johnson but this dude has got to stop dropping the football. Like c'mon man.

It's not even that he just drops passes. The ones he drops are usually enormous drops at important moments of the game or what would be huge gains.
He seems to make a lot of mistakes at the most important moments. That's not good.
I keep hoping he cleans up that part of his game, but It's starting to look like that's just who he is as a player.
He is also a guy that does everything he can to avoid contact. DJ is constantly running sideways or backwards after a catch, instead of getting up field quickly. When defenders are close or he thinks he could be hit, it certainly looks like he struggles to catch the football. He looks to get out of bounds as quickly as possible and will leave yards on the field to safely go out of bounds.
He gets paid a ton of money to catch the ball, but he lacks mental and physical toughness.

I agree with everything you said. You couple this with Pickens channeling AB and there's a problem and one way to solve it is to find replacements that have a team mentality. Our FO can draft seriously talented WRs but they don't do the homework necessary to assess character.

yeah it is pretty easy to gauge their personality. just watch their college tape. see how they act AFTER the play. if they act like fuckin idiots after every catch or tackle regardless of it being just a routine play, you might want to avoid adding him to the roster. what REALLY annoys me is watching the clowns celebrate a play when they are getting their ass kicked. that shows they think individual effort is more important than what they are doing as a team.
