In case you've never seen it it's kind of cool. If you don't bother to watch it 18 hundredths of a second is the difference between Ben getting the pass off or not.

1.8 seconds to just drop back and throw the ball.

imo for the average passing game to work the QB needs 3 to 3.8 seconds to throw the ball.

1.5 seconds if your lineman get's burnt and a receiver is open, yes. But that just doesn't happen. Ben needs to get rid of that ball in 3.5 seconds. That is, if the line allows it. Sometimes Ben's down before he get's the snap, lol.
